Happy 1st Birthday

I can hardly believe our beautiful granddaughter has taken her first trip around the sun.

It has been a year marked by challenges in navigating parenthood and grandparenthood. If you remember, our granddaughter spent the first two weeks in the NICU, which was very traumatic for the whole family. As parents, watching our child and her husband struggle broke our hearts. When they could take their baby home, the fun began.

Every milestone the little princess meets or exceeds brings joy to all of us. Every day she changes and grows. Her personality is forming every day. She has the cutest laugh, and you can see her mind work to make you laugh.

Watching her Aunts spoil the little princess makes us smile. They love her so much. To celebrate their sister being a wonderful mother, they send her flowers every month. It amazes us how well our daughters support and love each other. Somewhere in their youth or childhood, we must have done something right. Every day we are blessed to have such an extraordinary and growing family.
