Your Second Child is Your Inner Child

I love this quote because it is so true. This honestly describes Princess #2 to a T.

As I mentioned in my newsletter, we were surprised to hear that Princess #2 is expecting her second child. We found out when we took our granddaughter on her first trip to the same apple orchard we took the Princesses when they were little. She had on a T-shirt that said, “Big sister in training”. Nonna and Papa were so excited; I think we scared her.

Princess #2, as you know, is our second child. As Papa and I drove home, I remembered the day Princess #2 was born. As we drove to the hospital, I cried all the way because I knew we were going to ruin Princess’ life.  We were very worried the day Princess #2 came home, and all the grandparents oohed and ahhed over her. Princess dragged the car seat to the front door, pointed to her sister, and announced, “She has to go.”

Back then I had no idea how close all our Princesses would be. They all have been the sun in our sky and the moon in our darkness. We are so blessed and can’t wait to see how our grandchildren turn out.
