One of the best gifts I received this Christmas was a Winnie the Pooh t-shirt saying, “The only important decision I have to make today is to be in a good mood.”
There is something to be said about the choices we make in the morning. For me, my day job is in health care. I find starting my day with a positive outlook and smile helps my patients feel better, which makes my day go better.
When I sit down to write, my heart fills with joy and I can’t help but to smile. My husband can always tell I had a good writing day when he comes home from work. I am usually bouncing around the house and cooking. No matter what kind of day he had, he laughs with a smile and asks, “Did you have a good day?”
The poor man listens as I go on and on about what I wrote and plotted all day. Mostly, I think he is happy dinner is ready when he gets home.
Do what makes you happy and write it on your heart and you will have a wonderful day.
