When was the last time you made someone smile? Did it fill you with joy?
I truly believe happiness comes from being of service to others. My other job is in health care. I strive every day to make people smile. It brightens not only my day but hope theirs too. Greeting people with a smile and a friendly hello goes a long way. Another perk to my job is watching people heal and successfully return to their lives better than before. I can tell you health care has its challenges too. Some days you lose the battle to bring joy and find yourself supplying support to those in need.
Life is a journey. Enjoy the adventure. Stopping along the way to see what others are doing and have only slows you down.
