A Good Marriage

It is a few days before my nephew and his beautiful bride become one. I love this quote; it is true for me. Honestly, before Mr. B and I got married, I did not know how well we would cohabitate together. We moved into our apartment a week before our wedding, and I say “we” loosely. My parents permitted me to move in my things, but I remained grounded until my wedding. To make a long story short, for every minute past our curfew, my parents grounded my sister, brother and me a day. A week before our wedding, I missed my curfew by an hour. Therefore, my grounding lasted until my wedding. By the way, I was twenty-three years old.
When we started our life together, I realized my new husband was a gem. I’m sure I have mentioned this before. Our Princesses will tell you our relationship is 90/10, the ninety being their dad. I would say 60 /40.
Mr. B is the best man, husband, father to our girls I could ask for. He is the calming force in the hurricane of our lives. He keeps me focused and his hugs keep all my pieces held together.
My hope for the newlyweds is, they embrace the future with both hands and enjoy the adventure.
Remember to take care of yourself and read a new book!
Hugs,
Kat
